The Wife is a 2024 drama film directed by Bjrn L. Runge and written by Jane Anderson, based on the 2003 novel of the same name by Meg Wolitzer.

Jakob (Larry Fessenden) is a minister in a small town (filmed Canton, Mississippi). He is married to the dutiful wife Anne (Barbara Crampton) who is slightly annoyed by his excessive teeth brushing, snoring, and making noises when he chews. She meets Tom (Robert Rusler) an old flame from long ago on business.
