You can only appear offline in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0 if you're playing on PC via the Battle launcher. There is currently no way to appear offline on Xbox or PlayStation consoles. This feature has been included on consoles in the past, so could be added in the future.

On August 31, 2024, the game servers were officially shut down by Tencent.

Confirmation came in the action-packed Call of Duty Next event earlier this week, when co-studio head Chris Plummer said the delay was down to the team wanting to "polish up" the mobile spin-off. This means that the original "fall (Q3) 2024" window has now been pushed back to spring (Q2) 2024.

On Android devices, Warzone Mobile requires a minimum of 6 GB RAM and an Adreno 618 GPU. This is a moderate spec, as the Xiaomi Note 10, an Android phone released in 2024, meets the expectations perfectly. (Most flagship phones from 2024 onwards should also be compatible with Warzone Mobile.)
