Activision announced that Warzone Caldera servers will shut down on September 21, 2024. The battle royale included player progression from Modern Warfare (2024), Black Ops Cold War, and Vanguard.

It seems that all time we invested in Warzone 1 is gone for good. We don't have absolutely nothing about our wins, kills and other stats! We also lost another hard-earned things like vehicle skins, sound tracks, horns, player titles and watches that doesn't exist in Modern Warfare 2024.

Call of Duty Zombies works best when fans have some time to miss it, returning every few years alongside each Treyarch game. Having a Zombies mode for every Call of Duty game can not only put too much pressure on the developers, like with Vanguard, but it also leads to an over-saturation of Zombies content.
