Freddy himself is frightening, with a very limited dialogue and terrifying persona. In later sequels, he becomes a humourous villain, but in the first of the series is where we see Krueger at his menacing best.

For A Nightmare on Elm Street's Freddy Krueger, students hypothesized he represented Nightmare Disorder (ND), which is defined through repeated awakenings with [the] recollection of terrifying dreams usually involving threats to survival such as being hunted by a child murderer,  according to a Psychology Today blog.

WILL TERRIFIER 2 BE STREAMING ON HBO MAX OR NETFLIX? No, Terrifier 2 will not be available to stream on HBO Max or Netflix  at least not for the foreseeable future. Since Screambox has acquired all North American rights to the sequel, it will stream exclusively with them once it wraps up its theatrical run.
