Made for aroundR$250k, Terrifier 2 took more thanR$15M at the global box office, including more thanR$10M in the U.S. for Cinedigm. The film, which debuted at Frightfest and FantasticFest last year, was noted for its gore and for leaning in to old school  practical effects.

The gore scenes are so dramatic for no real reason. Its almost like watching a parody of a horror movie except it goes on for too long. The plot makes absolutely NO sense, the acting is horrible, and there is literally no coherent plot. It was an actual job just to finish this movie and could not wait for it to end.
