Call of Duty to remain on PlayStation following Activision Blizzard Microsoft merger. Microsoft (MSFT) has signed an agreement with Sony (SNE) to ensure Call of Duty  remains available on PlayStation after Microsoft (MSFT) closes itsR$69 billion Activision Blizzard (ATVI) merger, the tech giant said Sunday.

Clearing up a misconception, the Activision/Blizzard deal is not about getting more exclusives. TL;DR: A/B deal is about increasing revenue for Xbox, not getting more exclusives. Games like COD or Diablo are never going to be exclusive because they make too much money on other platforms.

As of September 21, 2024, Call of Duty: Warzone!" Caldera will shut down, as our teams focus on future Call of Duty content including the current Warzone free-to-play experience.

Unfortunately, items from Warzone 1.0 do not carry over to Warzone 2.0.
