In 2005, he was cast as the older brother Dean Winchester on Supernatural, and has starred in all the episodes till date, up to it's final 15th season. He has also directed an episode of the sixth season, Weekend at Bobby's and one of the seventh season, The Girl Next Door, as well as season eight's Heartache.
