At the moment, the platform boasts about 850,000 monthly active users and 320 million total accounts, according to Jorge Garca Guerra, a product owner at Azerion, a digital entertainment firm that acquired Habbo developer Sulake in January.

It's remarkable that Habbo Hotel still exists two decades later, even if its popularity has plummeted. One day it'll close down, perhaps some time soon, and many will bid a fond farewell to a game where they spent much of their childhood.
